I have been married to my high school sweetheart (AKA Clyn, Hubby or Sweetie) for 22 years. I am a full time wife and mom. We have two amazing kids–Jacob, 17 and Emma, 14 (going on 30). They are both bright and incredibly funny. We have moved around quite a bit with my husband’s work, and currently find ourselves in South Carolina. Being native Southerners, we are happy to be here.
I love the beach, reading, blogging, taking quasi-artsy photos with my Canon powershot, and taking care of my family. I am passionate about special needs children, as our son lives with Asperger’s Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder. I am a firm believer in approaching life with humor and my faith in God. I have been blogging on and off since late 2006 and I like to think of it as my free therapy…so far it seems like it might be working.
Here you will read my rambling thoughts about everyday life including motherhood, Asperger’s Syndrome and autism, homeschooling our son, our annoying homeowners association, and other various goofy things that happen around here–basically whatever is on my mind at the moment my fingers hit the keys. My blog is sometimes funny, sometimes heartfelt, but always true to my crazy life and my dorky self.
